Last night a visit with Donna and to enjoy some good food. First is a sweet display at the front door. Christmas Day message, along with a basket of greens and a lantern with a deer scene. All I needed was hot chocolate while I was enjoying the decorations. Can ya see the little deer? He is so cute. The mantle scene was so pretty with the flicker of candles.
Sunday, January 1, 2017. Happy New Year to All. The older I seem to get the faster time goes. Does not seem possible that it is now 2017. In May our Granddaughter Kelsey graduated from Sienna Heights College. We did her open house here at the lake home. We had a wonderful time and were so proud of her. George and I with her on Graduation Day. I was ready to enjoy the lake, and our pontoon boat,. And our camping week ends.
Sunday, November 9, 2014. The Christmas Countdown is on. Well Christmas is less than two months away and here I sit looking for easy things to make for Christmas gifts. I love checking Pinterest for wonderful ideas for family and friends. With several grandchildren to buy for I have been thinking of many ideas for home made that especially the Granddaughters could use. They are young adults as are most of the grandsons.

Its been 15 years since I have lived where it snows. I think people who grow up in the South always think snow is magical and I guess I still feel that way. But Im not the one who will be doing the shoveling and plowing! Lol It started snowing about 9 oclock last night and it is still snowing. We expect about 5 inches! My dear husband will have to read the instruction manual for the snow blower! He is especially confused when he squats to pee and the snow touches his belly! .
