Autistic Children, Drowning Safety and News Stories.

There have been many stories about autistic children and drownings. Why does this happen? There is a fascination of water with some autistic children but it39;s really the safety concern when they are not supervised closely.Sometimes things happen fast! My 20 year old autistic son lost his autistic best friend and classmate Michael Wilson in a drowning at age 7 in the neighbors backyard pool. They usually sent him back home. On Father39;s day 1993, the neighbors were out of town.We miss u Michael!
