The final few furlongs lay ahead of me, and the only thing standing between me, in Edinburgh, and the finishing line in Perth, was the M90. As I cruised along the Dual-Carriageway towards the imposing Forth Road Bridge, the thought of breaking my own motorway ban weighed heavily on my mind. Would that be a fitting way to end such an epic tour? Seatbelt on, engine.
