Thinking Out Loud

A look into our lives one thought after another. Thursday, July 30, 2015. What Im learning about grief is it comes in waves. Sometimes they are as gentle as the evening tide. sometimes they are ten feet high and I can barely catch my breath. Just when I think Im getting back to normal life whatever that is, a storm starts to brew and the waves build in strength. I miss you. Please watch over Granny. Be with us all. Can you see me when I stare at the clouds? What is heaven like? Links to this post.

Sanding the Rails

Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Man, have I been slacking about keeping up with this blog. I seriously doubt anyone really reads this blog anymore, but I do want to keep posting to it as a sort-of scrapbook. It is really neat to go back and read the old posts and remember what was going on in our lives back then. But even though I thoroughly enjoy that, I still keep dropping the ball. So here are some random updates. Today we bought Aaron football cleats.

I am just your average Texas girl married to a wonderful Okie. I guess opposites really do attract. I have a beautiful daughter who is the light of my life and two great stepdaughters. The only thing I have to complain about is how far away we are from family and friends, so thought this would be a great way to bring everyone along on our crazy life! View my complete profile.
