There are few McDanielsons in the world and most of them live in Halifax, in the county of Yorkshire, England, though a small number have moved to the north-east of the country and to Wiltshire. A scant few have been found in the USA, but research has not yet established if any link exists with those in England. Was born c1789 in County Mayo, Ireland and was the wife of Michael, above. Was born c1787 in Ripponden and married Lydia. His date of death is uncertain, but was probably before 1841, since the census for that year shows Lydia as head of household, listed with her children, but John is absent. John and Lydia are the direct ancestors of the McDanielson family, through their daughter Susy. 1830; all baptised in Ripponden.
Susannah Sykes aka Mrs Susan Sunderland. Was born in 1819 at Brighouse and baptised at Lightcliffe the same year. She was the daughter of James Sykes. A gardener, and Hannah Smith. Who are the direct ancestors of most of the current McDanielson family. From a young age she displayed a talent for singing and was encouraged and trained by a local blacksmith, Luke Settle, who lived near her home in Spring Gardens, Brighouse. By the time of her marriage in 1838 to a local butcher and farmer, Henry Sunderland.
