Monday, January 24, 2011. Our view from the hotel. Even though we were on the west side of town, the view was still gorgeous. They just rededicated this in November. It is the MOST beautiful Temple I have ever been through. We stayed on the North Shore one night to see our friends. It was well worth it. The most beautiful part of the island. Saturday, October 8, 2011. Its almost winter time and that mean lots of soup for dinner in the Holbrook House. This is one of my favorite recipes that I make all the time! 6 pieces thick-sliced bacon, chopped. 1 medium Vidalia onion, finely chopped. 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped. Salt and freshly ground black pepper. 1 small jalapeno, chopped seeds and ribs removed. 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped. 2 large potatoes, small diced.

Monday, September 12, 2011. We love his new job. Its a lot closer and the kids and I try and take him lunch at least three times a week since its only about 10 mins form our house. The girls LOVE to see him at lunch time! I love watching him with the kids and they love any minute they can have with their daddy! She loves when Brandtson wakes up and loves waking him up if she wants to play with him while he is napping.
