So almost two years ago, we painted some of our kitchen cabinets in order to brighten the space and see if white cabinets were something that we would want to invest in sometime in the future when we would redo the whole kitchen. First, we removed all the hardware and doors from the frames.

Friday, July 5, 2013. Summer Lovin Havin a Blast. We are enjoying the warm weather. We get out as often as we can. Here the boys found a long worm, and they were enthralled as they watched it crawl in the crack on the sidewalk. Jaxen always looks to Paxton to know what to do. There is a love and trust there that makes me so happy as a mother! This is our most recent family photo. Behind us you see a train the boys love riding. Hope everyone enjoyed Independence Day! Tuesday, January 7, 2014. We had to postpone the picnic part due to inclement weather, but the walk was just what we needed. We met our HCN lds friends at Grand Rapids park to see the river boat and the old mill. Evi in the duck costume that SHE picked out and LOVED wearing. Then Sienna decided to go for it.

Friday, August 3, 2012. Anniversary trip to Thousand Islands New York and Canada. Last summer Scotts mom visited in August after Scott finished his comprehensive exam. She stayed with this kids so we could go on this quick anniversary trip. Thanks mom! It was so wonderful! We went up to the Thousand Islands and started from the New York side where we boarded a boat tour. These are just a few of the pictures that we took of this beautiful place.
