Thursday, May 13, 2010. Thank you to everyone who was present at our Culminating Event last Friday! It was such a great event that very well summed up what we did during our time in artSpace together. The students got up on stage and performed so well, and without being nervous at all. And there were many bold performers that decided to do solos last minute! Thank you so much for a great class. Matt and I enjoyed working with all of you! Videos and pictures will be posted as soon as possible.
Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Pizza Party! Fun with stop motion! Friday, April 9, 2010. With our limited time remaining, we decided to shift gears a bit, and focus more on projects that can be completed in one or two class periods. Today, we learned a bit about the history of photograph, the mechanics of cameras, how to use light meters, etc. Monday, April 5, 2010. Friday, March 12, 2010.
Saturday, May 8, 2010. We were so happy that 28 students got to go with us. Justin took one group to the Architecture building, where they got to see the studios where all the creativity takes place! For lunch we had pizza from Oreganos, and some of the boys at 11 slices each! .
Wednesday, May 12, 2010. We had so much fun at our parade today! The students looked fantastic after wrapping themselves in an assortment of colorful streamers and balloons. Some were so well wrapped that it impeded their dance moves! And have a good summer. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. Monday, May 10, 2010. Today we did a dress rehearsal of our parade! Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Now that our dance is done and our masks and floats are looking good, we had to figure out where to have this parade! .

Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Check out the great Stop Motion Animations created by the students of the Academy of Excellence Artspace Class. complete with musical accompaniment and sound effects! Saturday, May 8, 2010. This week we worked on the final touches of our stop-motion films sound effects and music. Half the class recorded sound effects with Mr. Ben, while the other half worked on final edits with Mr. Adam. Everyone is very excited about everything coming together! Monday, May 3, 2010.
