Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Zoo, in the winter? Gay, I must say. It was a nice day so we drove the 40 minutes to get there. They are building a new area to the zoo, so currently it is half of what it was. It will be great when it is done but until then, boring. I think I am sick of the place. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Thursday, April 14, 2011. So I wanted to do something funny for the kids for April Fools. So I took their apples that they had for breakfast and poked holes in them with a meat thermometer, and then stuck some sour gummy worms inside. Then I turned their milk blue. Donovan thought it was hilarious. Thursday, April 7, 2011. Its moments like this that melt my heart. Donovan earned his Alphabet Award at school and the smile on his face said it all! James and Kristal welcomed a new addition to their family in March 2009. Monday, June 15, 2009. Nothing really has been going on in our lives over the past month or so. I guess we did move from Lafayette to Chicago. Kristal quit her job at Purdue and now stays home with Gabriella. And Gabriella is over 15 pounds and still the absolute love of our lives. Sunday, September 2, 2012. I am so excited to start our new school year this week! While Tony was home, we did a lot of work on the schoolroom to get things more organized and just BETTER for this year. I have been wanting cube style storage for our classroom since we first started this homeschooling journey last October and finally we got some. I love that every cube has a purpose and everything is grouped together by subject or activity.
Saturday, December 7, 2013. Today we celebrate 4 years since Haddie Hope Jie was born into our family! I can look back on that day today and laugh, but it was a long road to get to that point.
