Sunflower Paintings - Kids Art Lessons. This turned out to be one of my favorite painting lessons. The kids loved it and they did a great job with their sunflowers. My students are ages 7 - 14. I love large porches like this one. They are great to sit out on during the summer time. Again, love the porch and it has lovely trimming on it. The big windows add a nice touch too. I like the layout of this livi.

The state of Arkansas, as well as our district, will implement Common Core State Standards over the next three years. K-2 will implement the CCSS this school year. 3-8 will implement the standards in 2012-2013. 9-12 will implement in 2013-2014. Our district provided professional development for all K-2 this summer to prepare for the Com.
