Wednesday, January 01, 2014. I guess I failed in keeping up with this blog more as I had hoped. So much has happened between my last blog post and now. Last year right before Christmas, we packed up the condo in Virginia and moved to Texas. We officially moved to Austin on January 9th. Then we lost my sister-in-law Penny to cancer soon after. It was a rough beginning of the year. All I need is a giant work table and it would be my dream craft room.
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them. This is us January 2009. I am a stay at home mom with a 3 year old and a 1 year old - both boys. My husband Mike is working full time, and we all live with my parents in the house I grew up in. I am a member of the LDS church and love to read. 4 Kids, no dog, and living the American Dream! A virtually perfect life.

It will be held November 7th from 9 am to 2 pm Lunch will be served, and we will also hold our annual Christmas Cookie Contest. The last day to sign up for projects and turn in money to the teachers is Sunday, September 27. This can be used for pictures, for to-do lists, for recipes.

I can honestly say that it has been a fantastic year. Definately not easy, but in the end, fantastic. We feel at home here and have made good friends. The kids are generally healthy and doing so well! Things have been calm and stable.

For some reason, we read it Marlin, and being the Finding Nemo. Because he lives here with us, he gets to have many other pet siblings. Snake, guinea pigs, and hamsters.
