Sunday, August 2, 2015. Making positive connections with students outside of the typical school day is one of the most important things a teacher can do. At the beginning of the year, I take the time to send two sets of notes to my kiddos. The idea to send these first notes came from one of my teammates. This was one of my favorite class meeting lessons.
This summer has been a crazy whirlwind for me. On June 12, I married the love of my life.

Monday, August 3, 2015. Watch Me Prove You Wrong. I had an interesting experience today. Today when I went into my classroom, I was immediately approached by my custodian. He proceeded to inform me that the desks were in my room for a reason- because my SPED kiddos throw the chairs.

I saw about Periscope on Instagram and jumped on and my first Periscope I watched was Angie from Lucky Little Learners and Ashley from Schroeder Shenanigans in 2nd and thought it was amazing! I learned so much about Periscope from them and they started some amazing tribes! I love how teaching is a profession where people support one another and we all become a family. I have learned so much from other teachers that you just dont learn at college.CONTENT
