Sunday, 20 November 2011. Been thinking about to start a blog on aquaponics and maybe it is time. Still nothing to wrote or show as I will only be starting my aquaponics in a couple of months but this is one step closer to getting myself organized. Will log down my plans and then we will see how close to that I can get in real life! So far the plan is to start a system with a 5000L fish tank and a 2000L sump tank fish pond. Will be growing vegetables as well as flowering plants and fruit trees in drums.CONTENT

Tuesday, 17 June 2014. This is the May and June update of my small aquaponics system. I removed most of the unproductive plants and change the growing media into lightweight expanded clay-ball. One of the grow bed started to clog, and it is time for me to get into some business. There are lot of things to be told, but let the pictures tell the story. The roots look very healthy.
Wednesday, June 17, 2015. How Low Can You Go? Since I transplanted my Aquaponic Strawberries. Outdoors, I also removed one of the overhead fluorescent lighting ballasts indoors. This cut lighting energy use from 128 to 64 watts. The lights are still powered for 16 hours each day.
With the help of internet information I hope to do this in my own special way and to influence others to get into this style gardening as well. Thursday, July 9, 2015. Baby chicks have hatched! The chicks are blooming! It started this morning. I heard some peeping in a nook of the house where a chicken has been sitting on about 20 eggs! I got a picture of the singers before I ran away from the mid day heat of two little Black and Tan ones. The yellow one was already back under mama hen. Hope all is well .
