Antarctica is one of the most unique spots on earth, protected by the Antarctic Treaty as an international research preserve. Its status unfortunately, is in jeopardy as pressure mounts from private industry in the quest for natural resources. In March, I will join an expedition to Antarctica to study global climate change, renewable technologies, international political cooperation, and what we can do to ensure Antarctica remains protected.

I will be heading to Mt. Vinson, Antarctic a as a guide on an International Mountain Guides Trip with Phil Ershler.
