Friday, April 30, 2010. Mapping the World By Heart. Second semester 2009-2010 the 6th graders embarked on a huge project called Mapping the World by Heart. Each student complete nine regional maps. After the regional maps were completed students then drew the world map using the information from their regional maps. The original year-long curriculum was compacted into 16 weeks. Monday, July 27, 2009. I am at the finish line! It seems like yesterday that I signed up for this journey- I hope that does not mean my summer is over! My thoughts on this fun trip. I was guided into so many discoveries. I really loved the mosaic maker. I was proud that I was able to make a video. Improvement on the program? Would I do this again? How would I describe the process in one word or sentence? It has been fun! NINGS- it was interesting going thru this.
The Common Ramblings of an Uninteresting Individual. Just a girl from New Jersey trying to make you feel feelings. Who knew she was so funny anyway? The comedy on the show was surprisingly witty and quick. I found myself actually chuckling to myself. I was surprised it was funny, considering the commercials made it seem very dramatic. Sutton Foster had some amazing one liners.
