Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Just after her 90th birthday, my grandmother, Norma Ferrell Cochrane, passed away on April 16, 2015. I had just flown into Chicago about 24 hours prior, so I was able to spend a few hours with her before she died. As I flipped through the different stories, poems and accounts of her life, I came across this little gem. A poem for her grandchildren that she wanted to leave with us after she died. Learned lessons old and new.
