I like the idea of being able to put my thoughts down as my kids grow and teach me things about the world and myself. I hope this will be the vehicle to allow me to do just that. I have never been a journal keeper before, but would like to have something to show my children when they are older so they can know how much joy and love they have brought to my life. So on Saturday night we finally held our engagement party in Glasgow in a wee pub venue where we danced, tripped, thanked and, most importantly, ATE. It was a wonderful night, I got to spend it with some of the most important people in my life. Big shout out for Iansy Preston! A wee c.
