Just before her birthday, her classmates held an event in her name. I heard stories of adventures and chats. Student type evenings in the pub, with regular checks of that ragtag little train table she kept. She loved learning and reading and people, and all of that was here in one place. They gave me a place to visit, to sit with her a while.

Saturday, March 16, 2013. Its happy days this weeks as I have finished my first round of stripped plates and bowls. This is a dinner set for my sister. The one lesson learnt this time was that my clear glaze is applied a little think. Mental note for next time is thin down my glaze just a bit! This one below is stenciled stained clay with white slip. Its something I did at TAFE ages ago and thought I would reinvent it a little. What do you use to keep track of your bloggy mates? .

Saturday, January 7, 2017. During our visit to Europe we also visited some mountains and passes in Switzerland. One of the highlights was a trip to the Jungfrau Joch which is located in the Bernese Oberland and lies at 3500m altitude. Absolutely fabulous! In the ice palace. Waehrend unserer Europa Aufenthalts besuchten wir unter anderem auch das Jungfrau Joch. Im Berner Oberland gelegen ist es auf 3500 m Hoehe.
