After the animation sequence was created I had to edit my music to get the 30s I wanted. This was fairly simple to do because I downloaded a free trial of a music editing program. After I had saved this I imported it into my imovie and made sure it lasted the full length of my animation. Making my set and characters. Before I started creating my animation I needed to create a set that was suitable for my idea. I brought multi coloured card sheets which I would use to make everythi.

About my animation, i based my animation on my three words about my music happy, relaxed and simple, i wanted to create an animation purely using adobe after effects so learn and develop my skills in the programme and to create a smooth flowing 30 second animation. When listening to my music it felt like you were on a journey so i wanted to replicate this in the imagery, my animation its self is a simple design but i feel its effective. I started by opening Adobe After Effects CS5.
There are two versions of my final animation, they are the same but the music is different I have not yet decided which music to use. The first option is the first 24 seconds of the music. The second option is 2 minutes into the music where there is a change ing the music at the end to co-inside with the kite falling. Tuesday, 3 May 2011. Below are still for my final piece. Print to Pixel is right. So erm yeah this is it. The final poster after a bit of tweaking in photoshop which improves the colour tone and in a reasonable printing quality for A2 size. Looking back over my self-directed project, even though I am very pleased with the out come of my flip books, there are few things I would do differently after what I have learnt from it. The only reason it took so long was the amount of learning curve that came with using programs and methods that I was al.
One problem I had was that my camera moved every time I pressed the shutter button to take a photo. I needed a way of keeping the camera still when I took each photo.

In task 2 we are to create a poster for GF Smith paper and design distributors, a 100th year anniversary that celebrates the theme of 100 and paper. we were given tutorials that really helped. these were in both grid structure and layout and photography, both of which were and still remain extremely useful tools. it really helps to have knowledge on the subjects. This was the kind of thing i was after, the way i was going to do it was by photographing step by step every move i mad.
