Lydia had a blast trying something new this summer. We found a place that offers surf lessons and signed up with a bunch of our fav friends. On day one it clicked for her. It took her a few tries and then she was up on her feet riding those waves. It was such a cool thing to watch your child do! I was all smiles watching her do this. Coach Jo is a great motivator. I have yet to see him surf. Here she is on her knees at first. I loved her trademark tongue.

Friday, March 28, 2014. A lot happens in 6 months. Goes to preschool at Blackwell Elementary and is doing great! Although there are tears nearly every morning about not wanting to go to school, he always comes home a happy camper and is excited to tell us about the projects he did at school.

From there we all started training. I worked myself up to 4 miles. but I was really struggling, and actually DID NOT like running! So then we were really strugg.
