Monday, June 22, 2009. It was another trip to Kyoto. Amadeus was there trying to get his travel on, and I was looking to get out of nara so i decided i would hit one of the places i had missed during my first time through the country. Why did i not see that cool golden building? So me and amadeus start at a flea market located at what was described to us as being the tallest pagoda on the entire country.
Just some ramblings about my travels and other miscellaneous things. Saturday, October 30, 2010. Last meal in tokyo, at the airport. Looks very drab on the outside but rooms were cosy and clean. they had lighted up the park! Cows are going home.
Torimen is an Udon noodle shop near our apartment in Tsutsujigaoka. Their udon soup is fantastic and they recently expanded their menu including some Ramen options. This Ramen was good but not great, the broth is much better suited to their Udon soups and instead of pork there was piece of Chicken which was also good but not standout good. For now on I will stick with their Udon which is top notch.
