Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Semi-Annual Texas Wilcox Family Campout Spring 2017 to Bastrop State Park. Another one for the books! We had a ball, and Bastrop State Park is recovering nicely from the big 2011 fire. The weather was gorgeous, we even had some nice fog in the morning. We all agreed the facilities were the best we had encountered at any of the Texas state parks we had been to yet. We suspect they had to be replaced due to the fire.

Wednesday, July 8, 2015. The Virginia Creeper Trail is an old railway now purposed into a bike trail through the mountains of Virginia. From the top of mountain, and I use that term loosely since mountains are more like hills around these parts, it is a seventeen mile coast down to the bottom. We headed up to Virginia Friday morning with our friends the Starks. We anticipated a leisurely ride, enjoying the scenery, and stopping for picnics and play. Hah! We loaded up and began our decent.

McCord, Lisa, and Talia. Sunday, April 1, 2018. Happy Easter on April Fools on Conference weekend. This Easter is on general conference weekend and also on April Fools Day. Bingham got to egg hunt with the toddlers and he loved it. Easter presents were shoes for everyone and some outdoor activities for the kids. A small Easter but so wonderful.
