Monday, September 9, 2013. Today my baby girl has been with us for 3 months.

November was one of my favorite months of 2012. For the 1st time in I have no clue how long, the entire side of my family got together under one roof for a few days. All 5 siblings along with all 4 spouses and 8 kids made for the perfect Thanksgiving.

Tuesday, August 9, 2011. In Mammoth, we went on a few hikes, Sawyer ziplined, the boys fished, we watched fireworks over Crowley Lake, played in the snow, rode bikes, used the town trolley and shuttle and enjoyed the ski resort village. Oh yeah, and had a bear encounter in our campsite the first night! Next year, maybe Sawyer can hit some of the mountain bike trails.

Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Catching Up With the DeShongs. Wow, I sure am pathetic. Too much time has passed and I have not done any blogging. That is not to say that there is nothing to blog about. Turned the big 4-0 on March 10th! We celebrated a weekend sans kiddos.

Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Britain went to a friends house one day in February so I took Brooklyn and Sydney to Turtle Bay. They loved me taking their pictures! Life with a child and glasses. Brooklyn has gone through so many pairs of glasses. We often wonder how long each pair will last. this pair 3 months-then sat on! Wednesday, July 20, 2011. He had way too much fun! .

This morning is especially sweet for me. After a very busy week in which I did not feel the greatest I have the privilege of teaching in Grace School Chapel. Nothing better than preaching on the gospel! The school theme this year is Jesus as the light of the world.

Loving life and loving Him here in the beautiful Northwest. We had such a wonderful time in Sunsites, AZ. We visited Tombstone, Bisbee, Douglas, Benson, Tucson, etc. The time spent together as family was priceless. A Faith to Grow on.
