Friday, February 12, 2010. New Orleans - Mardi Gras and a Snow Day? Its that time of year again when Mobile, AL goes straight from Christmas to Mardi Gras. It was fun to take down our Christmas and put up Mardi Gras decorations. We havent been to every parade like last year, but we are still having lots of fun.as usual. Since we have been home it has been really cold for Mobile, so we didnt attend any of the parades during the week. Hopefully the rainsnow will stop this afternoon and we can go .
