In collaboration with media artist Eleanor Grootoonk. I made a series of photo illustrations for an assignment by the council of Harderwijk. The illustrations were used in a publication and for a series of postcards. We developed the style of the illustrations and created digital collages with pictures we took in Harderwijk. Solo Exhibition Kunst im Kreishaus, Nordhorn.
Fascinated by the notion that certain movie images recur in all kind of films, I started collecting. From 70 movies I collected similar film scenes and began to study them, trying to find out more about those stereotype scenes. The results of my analysis and all kind of data I collected are visualized in different ways, sketches, infographics, animations, collages, etc. Lighting a cigarette in a car.
