Sunday, August 17, 2014. Fort Stevens and Sauvie Island. Sauvie Island is about 45 minutes away and is a great place to play in the warm river water while enjoying a nice sandy beach. Its a great alternative to the freezing cold waters of the ocean! We went with some friends and had a great time! You can also watch some of these huge barges float by. Spent a day exploring Astoria. These sea lions were pretty funny! This is pure goodness here! My piano stud.
Saturday, June 11, 2011. Our day at the beach was a fantastic day! First stop was playing in the sand,. Gabe enjoyed burying his feet. While Zach liked scooping the sand up with his shovel. Of course playing in the sand lasted only a little bit. They both wanted to play in the water! They jumped waves and ran from them too! Gabe started making mud pies. Tuesday, May 29, 2012. I found the cutest kiddy pool for Kaleia at Walgreens of all places so the first day it hit 90 degrees I quickly got it out. She absolutely loved it!
