Friday, July 23, 2010. Raw Carrot and Vegetable Soup. My adventures in raw are progressing, albeit very slowly. As I move closer to this world, I have been trying to omit the salt. Pureed carrots and filtered water as a base do not really pack a lot of flavor. This is where the line between eating for entertainment, and eating purely for nourishment is drawn. You will probably want salt.
Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Monday, June 22, 2009. Life has been so crazy the last seven weeks. I started school again and it has been a very strange experience. In some ways having a kid has made school easier, but it also has been more difficult. I think it is easier because I can no longer go out and spend my day hungover. It is harder than I thought it would be because Aiden has become mobile. It is a lot more work, but I honestly love it! I honestly even miss him at night after he goes to bed.

Sunday, June 6, 2010. The music is relentlessly gentle, as formerly powerful songs by Beethoven, Bach and Mozart are performed on toy pianos and high pitched synthesizers.
