Since May we have been foster parents to 7 children. Yes, you read that number correctly and no, not all at the same time. The children we have fostered have ranged in age from 5 months to 11 years old. Our trainer called Thursday afternoon to let us know we are now approved and will be put on the Foster Parent List. Friday, June 16, 2006. Neill, Juan and Daniel, also came to say goodbye. They helped us flag a taxi and pack up all of bags to go. It was a sad good bye. We promised to return as soon as we could. Amy had tears steaming down her face, and Mike had tears in the corner of his eyes. We boarded the bus and watched out the window as we passed the barren landscape between Chimbote and Lima.

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place in the Thousand Islands at Casa Blanca on Cherry Island in Alexandria Bay, NY. We are staying at the Edgewood on Friday and Saturday nights.
