I rarely illustrate an entire story, but I do use a separate panel for each individual thought without skipping around or editing the text, even if Ive chosen only a page or two. Its easier to move on to more sophisticated work when you begin with something clean and clear that helps you see instantly what to keep, what to add or replace, and what to throw away. This type of illustration is sometimes later finished, then published as artwork.

Most likely lifted from WC3 back in the day. In the beginning, there was the fish, and only the fish. The fish was of grand proportions, spanning from here to there, with shimmering scales of every spectrum of color. This lovely turd was named Leroy. The fish did not like this.

Anyway here is a few of my cards. This next card is made from my homemade blue jean paper. The background on this card is masking tape. I just love working on a small scale like this because it is much easier to fill up a small area and they make up so quickly.
