Bienvenue à la maternelle! Learning To Love Our Local Place. We have a wetland right in our backyard! This week, we became our very own forest school and walked over to the Bissett Wetlands for a morning of environmental education. We began by actively listening to the sounds and drawing them in our journals. We heard ducks, black birds, water rushing and insects. Students could spread out to find their place to listen to our surroundings.
