Wednesday, May 20, 2015. This and That in May. Lots of little things going on in May. Scott finally got the game ball. He caught a high ball IN HIS GLOVE from the pitcher and got a kid out at first base. I know I was shocked! He got the game ball from his sweet coach Jeff. We were all so proud of him! Friday, March 13, 2015. Beauty and tragedy collide and it breaks me. How do I speak of unspeakable things in the grocery store aisle or in a passing call from a neighbor on the phone? Words fail me. How do I share with openness and vulnerability, yet protect the things that are sacred? I do not know. And so, I have hardly spoken of it all in the days since returning home. Not perfect, and truthfully, flawed. I am not so naive as to believe our love will heal all her hurts.

Tuesday, April 28, 2015. New camper and Easter. North Texans have too many big toys apparently. We are thankful that our one outing in it - staying in a RV park in College Station over Easter weekend, was successful and without event. My whole family stopped by to check it out and we all fit inside - its a mansion compared to the pop up! Plus, it was raining of course - we were sort of camping after all!
