Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Week Fourteen - It has a purpose. This picture was taken with my cell phone, from the passenger seat of a car going about 60MPH. Week Thirteen - Vanity? My biggest problem with taking portraits this week would have to be finding a subject! Week Ten - read THIS.
Sunday, March 8, 2009. The opportunity to capture this image came with the walk in search of landscape shots. The sun reflected heavily off of the water, as it sunk into tire tracks of the sodden country road. The play of line with shadow appealed to me from the bridge and ruts, both travelling in opposite directions. My troubles with taking portraits of him, and I assume all young children is getting them to stay still long enough to take a picture. I finally gave up and just let him run around, and I got this shot. Taking portraits is becomes very rewarding when you achieve a good photo, but I imagine very frustrating when you cant.
