I always try to schedule appointments for the very first of the day before they have time to get behind schedule, but still somehow it happened. Good thing the boys were nicely distracted by the fun stuff happening outside. Max discovered a way to hold his books and buckle himself in at the same time. We rented a big van and took a trip to Louisiana for a couple days. We stopped and saw the Baton Rouge Temple on the way to New Orleans. We went to the National WW2 Museum which was incredible! Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Here we go again with another chapter of the VA Stone saga. Mingled with those goings on we had soccer parties for Hans and Daniel, Orchestra concert for Allison, soccer practices and a tournament for Michael, youth activities, a piano recital for all and various other miscellaneous outings to play tennis or to the pool etc.

Saturday, August 15, 2015. Loving his new toddler bed. But this is just so much more comfortable. This summer a local park has been having a free family fun day once a month. We finally got out there to check it out today. It was a good couple hours of fun for the kids, definitely worth going back again, hopefully on a day that is not quite so hot. They started out in the bouncy house. Then we did some exploring.

Friday, November 14, 2014. Our sweet girls finally arrived, and we are so so so happy to have them here! We were surprised that they look nothing alike. They are so beautiful we cant stop admiring them. I still cant believe there are TWO! They have been really good babies; they only cry when theyre hungry or really need to be changed. Theyve grown so much in the last couple of weeks, they hardly look like newborns anymore. These pictures are from when they were 6 days old. Tuesday, October 21, 2014.CONTENT

Not about the clothes mounded into my laundry hampers, and not about how I am going to get it done, but about laundry itself. And the laundry has to get done at least once a week. And once I wash it all, over the course of a couple days, and sort and fold . it is usually time to do laundry again before I get the clothes put away.

Sunday, September 7, 2014. We laid my grandfather to rest this last Tuesday. It hurts less than watching him suffer. Poor Aidan started crying, and was pretty sure he was just going to be sad all day. The service was really good. I read my blog post from the day before he passed.
