We have a few Vegetables in our back garden but decided we wanted to grow more Veg so we decided to get an allotment. We got the plot on Green Hill allotment in High Wycombe. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. July has been a busy month at the allotment. Mostly it has been constant weeding and a lot of picking as the vegetables gradually start to become ready. Above is how one of the plots currently looks, at the end of July, with the Runner Beans now producing and the Squash plants well and truly taking over and covering the soil. Plenty of Courgettes are also being picked. The Squash plants are growing rampantly. These are Turks Turban Sq.
My new and improved Lottie experience should be showing by now. I have decided to give up my plot, over the last 3 months I have only been down there 3 -5 times. My health has not been very good. And so the plot became over run with mares tails and bindweed so I just gave in my key. Although I have left the door open as i have said if one of the diasbled beds becomes available I would like one. So it was with deep regret I had to give up the plot. So after a couple o.
