My name is Bianca, and I am currently in my sophomore year of high school. I plan to use this to show some of my artwork from my art class, and hopefully show how it will improve over time. Wednesday, December 14, 2016. The first idea that came to mind for this assignment. Was to create a tiger. I figured it would be interesting. To choose because of its feautures, and it is also my. In the end, the ink sort of created. Over my art, but I like the end result.
Monday, December 12, 2016. I used gouache and ink to create my piece. I used gouache to paint my design, then I went over it with black ink, after that I washed it off and it revealed the gouache. I used darker colors under the leaves to create texture and I used the black ink to create value, depth. I also used bright colors so that they would stand out amongst the black background. Thursday, December 8, 2016. In this piece, I used Gauche to portray a rose with leaves and a green, textured background. I left white spots where I wanted the black to go on from the ink, creating a sense of texture and contrast for the piece all around. Tuesday, December 6, 2016.
