University of Lethbridge Cross Canada Bike Tour. Wednesday, June 18, 2008. The trip will take us 10 weeks to finish, riding over 7,500kms, if all goes to plan.
Brett Holmes, and friends Vanessa Esau and Kelly Kennedy attempt to cycle across Canada. Fellow student, Allan Hall will be driving the support vehicle. Partnering with the University of Lethbridge, the four of them will promote one of the finest post-secondary institutions all the while cycling over 7,500 km this summer. Monday, September 22, 2008.
Friday, August 29, 2008. Day 66 and 67, across Canada in 57 hours. We were all eager to get back to Lethbridge, so we agreed to not stop anywhere except to get gas on the ride back. We all took turns, and drove for over two days straight. 57 hours to be exact. We only stopped once for food, and that was in Regina. We all grabbed a bunch of food in Antigonish NS before we left to tie us over until we reached Lethbridge. We woke up fairly early today and had breakfast.
Sunday, August 10, 2008. Rest day in Ottawa, August 5. We ended up finding the place just fine, but we really should have taken a cab. But we made it and had a great evening with some really great people! Rest day in Monreal, August 4. I totally want to come back here. very soon! Lachute to Joliette, August 3. Gatineau to Lachute, August 2.
