We went up to New York last weekend. Last weekend was beautiful, and we walked all over Manhattan. I met my friend, Elizabeth, on Saturday, and she gave me a tour of her section of town. You may know Elizabeth from one of her blogs. And she was a great tour guide. Our first stop was ABC Carpet. There are so many cool things in that store. I had never been before.
Life as a painter in the Highlands of Scotland. In preparation for my exhibition opening tomorrow, 1st May, I have ventured into the world of giclee prints and have initiated the editioning of three images, the originals to be included in the show. Having been recommended to a photographer in Glasgow who works with a digital print studio, Norrie and I took the opportunity of a meeting to also have a night out on the town! April 29, 2015.
Modern Irish Bee March Block. I finally got my Bee blocks completed today. Or go to the Modern Irish Bee blog for a link to the You Tube tutorial. An American man sewing as only an American man could sew. This block takes about 10 minutes to do, so very fast, but you need to concentrate and be quite methodical. Not much else in the way of sewing around here at the mo. Look at my beautiful whippet. So I used bleach! .
