Friday, January 25, 2013. My Uncle Mike has been with the Seattle Police Department for 20 years now. A couple years ago he was promoted to Sargent. The police department finally got around to throwing a promotional ceremony for all the officers who were promoted in the last 2 years. I was so glad I could skip out of work and be there to see Uncle Mike receive the recognition he deserves.
