The Alberg 30 is a beautiful boat. And built by Whitby Boatworks in Ontario, she is both graceful and sturdy. The first Alberg 30 was launched in the summer of 1962. Since then, over 700 have been built. Almost 200 are members of the Chesapeake Bay Alberg 30 Association. There is also the Great Lakes Alberg Association. The Alberg 30 is well suited to both racing and cruising.

Monday, June 22, 2015. The Chesapeake A30 Association sent 8 sailors north to try to win the Syronelle Trophy. We had two days of great wind and great one-design sailing, and the victory was on the edge, but in the end we won and the trophy is heading south for the first time in 20 years. Details will follow but here is the bottom line. Towney and his team got 4 bullets in 4 races aboard Jazz. And George Dinwiddie and team went 6-5-4-6 out of 7 aboard Le.

Thursday, August 20, 2015. The Trailer for Natalie B. I replaced the tires, added two spares, replaced the 2x12 that the keel rests on and gave it a paint job. I was happy with the results. The final addition was a weight distribution system with dual cam sway bar control. Apparently, the thing to do, is self medicate and go bowling.
