We stayed in a super ghetto hotel by the train tracks! We just went to the park every day, sometimes made it to the pool, and drove around to give the guys cold gatorades while they were selling.
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Lots has happened with me, Jon, and the kids, but it all pales in comparison to the dose of reality I was dealt with the loss of my brother. Maybe I am doing this for me, but maybe what I have to say can help someone else who is going through a tough time. The memories are so tangible, so real, so vivid. They met Great Grandma Simmons which was really special! When I handed Sydney Louise to her name sake Great Grandma Simmons she looked up at Grandma and smiled and cooed for about 10 min. straight. I have never seen her do that before to anyone so it was special to see her do it for Great Grandma Simmons. Valentines Day was a fun day. We had a fun.CONTENT
