This web page alaskasealions.blogspot.com states the following, "I know they look small, but there are a lot there." We saw that the webpage said " Also, I took this a while ago, when there was still ice in the harbor." It also said " During the winter, when most of the boats are gone, several harbor seals haul out on the docks of the harbor we live in. They are skittish and tend to dive into the water when people walk by, but I managed to get a shot of them from above. On this day I counted 42 of them. On the school holidays I had the pleasure of attending an author talk by. Mr Landy travelled from Ireland to tell us about his very popular book series. With Warner Brothers movie company which in the end fell through. Mr Landy was not too upset about this fact as he was worried the movie script deviated from the actual story.
