Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Trip of a Life Time. Our week of Champion travel is now over and what an amazing experience for our family. We met some of the most precious children I have ever seen, families that love unconditionally and members of the CMNH staff that truly love every aspect of their jobs and it shows in so many ways. I have forever been changed by this unforgettable week. Day 1 - Travel to DC. Day 2 - Capitol Hill and Sightseeing.

Rocky the mascot was hysterical. He came over, grabbed my camera, took pics of Arnie, Olivia and I and then posed for pics with Olivia.

Thursday, September 6, 2012. FedEx arrived this morning! We had a horrible windstorm Tuesday night through early Wednesday morning. School was cancelled Wednesday for the entire city and our military base was closed! As of right now some people are still without power and 3 elementary schools are running in generators! Our house and trees made it through but my Dawn nerves were FRIED! After making it through the entire storm with electricity it went out yesterday morning and was out most of the day!CONTENT
