Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Things That Make Me Smile. In this ever bustling, busy, always in a rush world, I sometimes find a quite moment to reflect on my good fortune and how wonderful life can be. It is then that I find the little, simple things that make me smile.
A family living, laughing, loving, and hoping through childhood cancer. She was able to give all three of her kids a 2-armed hug. She had to be able to see where to get her arm, but each of the kids still got to feel both arms around them for the first time. Pretty monumental in my book.
