Monday, July 9, 2012. Our little Samuel Friedrich was discharged from the hospital on Friday, after spending two long weeks in special care. Anne supervises every feeding and diaper change; she has been asking about him multiple times a day even before he came home. Now that he has all the tubes and IVs out he is a happy boy.
Monday, April 25, 2011. Life has been busy these past few months. Sadie has been an inquisitive and curious little girl. It has been a blast to watch her learn and grow. Here she is learning about the organs in her body. Ethan is also growing quickly. We blessed him towards the end of March. Crazy! A few weeks ago, we had our family photos taken.
Monday, October 20, 2014. Saturday trip to the zoo! They had a bunch of picture holes setup for the Halloween Trick-or-Treat. Made sure the kids all got maps. Our kids love to get the maps of the park or zoo or where ever we are that has maps, we have to get a map for each of the kids. And we rode the carousel, always a highlight at the zoo. Lions are a favorite in our house. Most of the time, all 3 kids would tell you that a lion is their favorite animal.

Wednesday, January 18, 2012. This was the boys combined classes walking field trip to a fire station. It was quite the undertaking, but it all went just fine. Isaac borrowing my sunglasses to look up at the firefighter climbing the ladder. Afterwards, we ate lunch together in J.T.s classroom. I think this is Isaacs favorite part of December egg nog! Where life is crazy with three young kids. Earlier this summer I was able to test a pattern for my good friend Kymy over at EYMM. Saturday, October 11, 2014. I got there and explained that I was GBS positive. Lizzy was a little bruised and had a nice round head since she spent very little time in the birth canal. I believe she had APGAR. On my way to have a baby! Enjoying my ice chips! Labor is very tiring.
Our lives can be enjoyed and appreciated long after we go, through pictures. I loved seeing the simplicity and elegance of past times. People were skinnier, families did more together, and kids enjoyed the outdoors. Cars were important and a great backdrop for a photo. Pictures were taken with thought and care, with great quality.
