Friday, 13 September 2013. Lakeland 50 - half the length, twice the pain. Having the UTMB lined up for the following month I decided to err on the side of caution and do the Lakeland 50 this year instead of the 100. A pensive Paul Hunt at the start.
Anyone watching the BBC documentary with Colin Jackson. Looking into Nature versus Nurture with athletes. Only athletes born between September and February are any use at all.
Once again, For real this time. Too bad our peace of mind was chased away, too. I never noticed it earlier! It was a wake-up call.

Thoughts, ideas, reports etc. Friday, October 10, 2008. Lots has happened since I wrote that last post. Lots and lots. I did the ironman. I loved every minute. It proved to me I was born to run and not necessarily swim or cycle! So I wont go into it here. Anyway 2 weeks and 3 life threatening illnesses later, I was eventually allowed go home that was a week ago. Happy days, hospital was killing me.I have no energy and cant quite run yet but it gets better by the day. I started a new job today, well .CONTENT
