Saturday, May 14, 2011. I was lucky enough to win a copy of the Just Cross Stitch Ornament Issue from Plum Street Samplers. I have never, and I really mean that, never won a thing in my life, so this was great. Meanwhile my son won a competition in his French class and was presented with a copy of Le Petit Prince. I have been cross stitching on and off since 1969. Her home was number 78. I spent many pleasant hours at that house as I often went there for holidays as a child. Now I prefer counted cross stitch. With FAITH, we see Him, with JOY, we receive Him, with PRAISE, we adore Him. It has been a rough year. Dad passed away in April and it has been difficult to say the least. He was living with us and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Monday and was gone by Thursday. Family came together and celebrated his life. HE DID IT AGAIN! My oldest just broke his arm, again. Same arm, this will be the 4th time! .
