I also remember the tears that would flow in my posts prior to our travel and how emotionally exhausting it was to try and convey how much I wanted to bring him home. I often played this update post out in my head and tried to come up with the words I wanted to say and knew again how emotional it would be. Emotional in an entirely different way. I wrote this piece on Baby Center to explain some of the sorts of media pregnant moms can expect to encounter as they go through their journey with their child with Down syndrome.
