Tuesday, October 17, 2006. Say hello to my new toy, the Bajaj Pulsar. A few weeks ago a couple of guys rented bikes and when they were still alive after a few weeks of riding in India, I joined them. Not having to haggle with rickshaw drivers, getting ripped off because I am white, and then getting mad about it, is going to make my days much more bearable. It also came in handy this last weekend. Hill stations were created by the Britis.

Rob is in Africa. The end of an odyssey. I apologize for the nearly two-month gap between posts. My final few days in Dar Es Salaam before coming home were fairly hectic I became seriously ill, nearly hospitalized. Id written a final post to give a sense of closure, but the computer crashed as I was finishing it, and I was too frustrated and tired to write another. Sorry! Can anyone eat so much fudge? Its a good feeling to finally have a solid ground to stand on, though. It will be fantastic .CONTENT
