One day last week, a child in one of our older grades said to me, You may think that we are weird, but my family doesnt celebrate Christmas. Of course, my immediate response was to let him know that he wasnt weird but in fact, quite normal. This took us down the road of our varied religious backgrounds mine being Jewish and his being Muslim. One of the best parts.
