On March 2013, I was one of two coach buses bringing a Toronto high school woodwind band to a music competition in New York City. This would be my first foray into the Big Apple with a chartered group since joining Parkinson Coach and Tours thirteen months ago. Our nine-hour trip through the night from Toronto requires us to clear American customs at Lewiston, NY just after midnight Thursday. Nearing New York City, we approach the Lincoln Tunnel amid the early morning traffic.
Driving a highway coach for Parkinson Coach and Tours has taken me to such diverse places as Quebec City and Mont Tremblant, Quebec, New York City, Detroit and State College in Pennsylvania. This trip in April 2013 will take me for the first time with a Toronto high school group to an international robotics competition in St. After dropping off the group at the hotel and then the Complex, I had some free time to explore St. Only to find it barricaded.
